Following the European tradition of master and journeyman, Mark apprenticed under Felix Marti, a Swiss-American master carpenter for three years. He continued learning and sharing that knowledge while stationed in Swaziland with the Peace Corps. His woodworking and technical drawing classes helped young men learn valuable skills. He also worked for four years as a finish carpenter for Ecofutures Building Inc., the premier green building company in the region. A true Colorado native, Mark lives with his wife and daughter in Boulder.
